A complimentary birthday drink worth up to RM10, automatically added to your Gong Cha Royalty rewards account during your birthday month. If your chosen drink costs more than RM10, you pay the difference. Valid for 30 days from date of issuance.

Requirements at a glance

How to claim

1. Sign up for Gong Cha Royalty membership at any outlet (RM15 sign-up)
2. Register your date of birth in your Royalty profile
3. At the start of your birthday month, check your Rewards tab — the free drink voucher will be auto-issued
4. Visit any Gong Cha outlet and order any drink
5. Redeem the birthday reward in-store; top up the difference if the drink exceeds RM10

What usually goes wrong

• Birthday not in profile — the reward is only issued if your birthday is registered; add it now even if it’s not your birthday month
• Voucher expired — valid for 30 days from issuance; don’t wait until the last week of your birthday month
• Expecting any drink free — drinks over RM10 require you to pay the extra; customizations (extra pearls, etc.) also add to the price
• Signed up too late — if you just joined, confirm whether the birthday reward kicks in immediately or requires a waiting period
