This policy explains what JomDeals collects today as a content directory, what it does not collect, and how form submissions and analytics data are handled.

JomDeals is a directory of birthday deals, claim guides, and merchant references. It is not a marketplace, booking engine, payment processor, or membership app.
That matters for privacy because the site currently collects much less user information than a transaction-heavy product would.
JomDeals uses Google Analytics 4 to understand high-level site usage such as page views, referrers, approximate device and browser data, and general engagement trends.
If you submit a contact form, outdated-info report, or merchant submission, the information you enter is collected so the message can be reviewed and acted on.
Like most websites, hosting and network providers may process technical request data for delivery, performance, and abuse prevention.
If the product model changes later, this policy should change with it.
Google Analytics 4: used for traffic and engagement measurement.
Netlify: used for site hosting and Netlify Forms handling for submitted forms.
External merchant sites: if you click out from JomDeals to a merchant or official source, that external site has its own privacy practices.
The site may use cookies or similar technologies required by analytics and normal site delivery.
If you block analytics or cookies at the browser level, some measurement may stop, but the basic content pages should still remain usable.
Form submissions are kept only as long as they remain useful for support, merchant communication, correction tracking, legal compliance, or spam review.
Analytics retention is also subject to the settings and policies of the analytics provider.
Some third-party tools used by the site may process data outside Malaysia. By using the site or voluntarily submitting a form, you understand that this may involve cross-border processing through those providers.
You can avoid sending form data by not submitting forms. You can also control many analytics and cookie settings through your browser and privacy tools.
If you previously sent personal information through a form and want it corrected or deleted where reasonably possible, contact privacy@jomdeals.com.
Reasonable steps are taken to protect the site and submitted information, but no internet-based system should be described as perfectly secure.
This policy may change as the site changes. If the product starts collecting new categories of user data, the policy should be updated to reflect that clearly.
