A free item credited to your McD Malaysia app account on your birthday. You choose from available options in the app (exact items vary by promotion period). Valid for 1 week from your birthday date — after that the reward expires.

How to claim

1. Download the McDonald’s Malaysia app and create a free account
2. Add your date of birth in your profile settings — do this before your birthday
3. On your birthday, open the app — your birthday reward will appear in the “Deals” or “My Rewards” section
4. Choose your free item from the available options
5. Place a mobile order through the app using the birthday reward — select pickup or McDelivery
6. Collect your order

What usually goes wrong

• No birthday in profile — the reward only appears if your DOB is in your account; add it before your birthday
• 1-week window missed — the reward expires exactly 1 week after your birthday; do not leave it until the last day of the month
• Counter redemption attempt — the birthday free item must be ordered via the app’s mobile ordering system; telling the staff at the counter without an app order will not work
• App not updated — older versions of the McD app sometimes do not show birthday rewards properly; update to the latest version
