How to claim

5. Place a mobile order through the app using the birthday reward — select pickup or McDelivery

What usually goes wrong

• No birthday in profile — the reward only appears if your DOB is in your account; add it before your birthday
• 1-week window missed — the reward expires exactly 1 week after your birthday; do not leave it until the last day of the month
• Counter redemption attempt — the birthday free item must be ordered via the app’s mobile ordering system; telling the staff at the counter without an app order will not work
• App not updated — older versions of the McD app sometimes do not show birthday rewards properly; update to the latest version
