Starbucks Birthday Reward Malaysia: Free Cake Slice (How to Claim)

What you get

Free slice of cake when you purchase any handcrafted beverage during your birthday month. The reward is issued once per birthday month and valid for the full calendar month.

Requirements at a glance

• Starbucks Rewards membership (free, via the Starbucks Malaysia app)
• Must register at least 7 days before your birthday month begins — registering in the same month you want to use the reward does not qualify
• Must purchase any handcrafted beverage to redeem the free cake
• In-store redemption only — no delivery, no mobile order redemption
• One birthday reward per membership per year

How to claim

1. Download the Starbucks Malaysia app and create a free Rewards account
2. Add your date of birth in your profile settings — do this at least 7 days before your birthday month starts
3. On your birthday month, visit any Starbucks Malaysia store
4. Order any handcrafted beverage
5. Show your app to the barista and tell them you’d like to redeem your birthday reward — they will add the free cake slice to your order

What usually goes wrong

• Registered too late — if you sign up during your birthday month, the reward only kicks in the following year
• No handcrafted beverage — bottled drinks and packaged food do not trigger the reward; you need an espresso, latte, Frappuccino, or similar
• Trying to redeem via delivery — the birthday cake is in-store only
• Account shows no reward — check your Rewards tab; sometimes the voucher appears under “My Rewards” only after the first day of your birthday month
