Shopee Malaysia Birthday Voucher: How to Get It (Silver Tier and Above)
Shopee Malaysia preloads a birthday voucher into your Voucher Wallet 3 days before your birthday month — Silver tier and above only. Here's what to set up and where to find it.
What you get
A birthday voucher preloaded into your Shopee Voucher Wallet, issued 3 days before your birthday month begins. The voucher is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued. The exact value is not publicly listed — it varies by tier and account, so check your Voucher Wallet to see what’s loaded for your account.
This benefit is available for Silver tier members and above.
Quick decision
Worth claiming if you already shop on Shopee and you are at Silver tier or above. The voucher arrives automatically — you do not need to click or claim anything. Just make sure your birthday is set in your profile and that you are at the right tier before your birthday month.
Tier requirement
You need to reach Silver tier in the Shopee Rewards program. Silver requires completing at least 10 orders and spending at least RM500 within a bi-annual cycle.

Classic tier members do not receive a birthday voucher.
How to claim
- Open the Shopee app and go to the Me tab.
- Tap your Rewards tier tag (Silver / Gold / Platinum) to see your current tier and benefits.
- Three days before your birthday month starts, a birthday voucher will be automatically preloaded into your Voucher Wallet.
- To find your Voucher Wallet: Me tab → Voucher Wallet.
- At checkout, select the birthday voucher from your available vouchers.
- Complete your order before the voucher expires (30 days from receipt).
What usually goes wrong
- Birthday not set — if your date of birth is not in your Shopee profile, the voucher will not be issued. Set it in Me → Account Settings → Personal Information.
- Classic tier — the birthday voucher is a Silver-and-above benefit. If you are on Classic, you will not see one.
- Checking too late — the voucher is issued 3 days before your birthday month. Check your Voucher Wallet early in the month, not on your actual birthday.
- Expiry — birthday vouchers last 30 days from issuance, not 30 days from your birthday. If your birthday is late in the month, the voucher may expire before a natural restock window.
- Voucher not visible — check Me → Voucher Wallet → All. The birthday voucher may not appear in the default “Available” view if it is already applied or has expired.

The exact voucher amount varies by account and is not published by Shopee Malaysia. Higher tiers (Gold, Platinum) may receive higher-value birthday vouchers. Check your Voucher Wallet once the voucher is issued to see the actual amount and any minimum spend requirement.
Before your birthday month
- Confirm your date of birth is set: Me → Account Settings → Personal Information.
- Check your current tier: Me → tier tag. Classic tier does not qualify.
- Three days before your birthday month, open Voucher Wallet and look for the birthday voucher.
- Note the expiry date and any minimum spend — use it before it expires.
