TNG eWallet Birthday Reward Malaysia: No Standing Reward Found

No standing birthday reward was found for general TNG eWallet users. The GORewards loyalty programme — which lets you earn points on every RM1 spent and redeem them for vouchers — does not include a birthday-month bonus or birthday voucher.

If you see references online to a “TNG eWallet birthday reward,” they are likely referring to the Principal Birthday Campaign, which is a co-promotion between TNG eWallet and Principal (an investment fund). That campaign gives you a TNG eWallet Reload PIN only if you invest a minimum of RM1,000 in a Principal Save/Invest/Retire account during your birthday month — it is not a reward for ordinary eWallet use.

What GORewards actually offers

GORewards is TNG eWallet’s general loyalty programme:

• Earn 1 GORewards point per RM1 spent via TNG eWallet
• Bonus point multipliers (up to 10x) at selected partner merchants during campaign periods
• Points are valid for 6 months from the month they are earned (minimum 100 points to redeem)
• Redeem for e-vouchers, Alipay+ Rewards, or lucky draw entries

There is no birthday-month multiplier or birthday-specific perk within this programme.

What the Principal Birthday Campaign actually is

The Principal Birthday 2025 Campaign is a separate co-promotion between Touch ‘n Go and Principal Asset Management:

• You must be a Principal Save / Invest / Retire account holder
• Cash in a minimum of RM1,000 in a single transaction during your birthday month
• Maintain RM1,000 in your Principal account for 30 days after the cash-in
• Reward: 1 × RM5 TNG eWallet Reload PIN, sent via SMS within 30 days after the holding period

This is an investment product promotion, not an eWallet birthday reward. The RM5 is a marketing incentive for Principal customers, not a perk for ordinary TNG eWallet users.

TNG eWallet does run periodic in-app campaigns. If you want to check whether any birthday-month deal is active for your account:

1. Open the TNG eWallet app.
2. Tap the Rewards or Promotions tab and look for any birthday-specific offer.
3. Check your app Inbox for any birthday notification from TNG.
